Newport Folk Festival

This is one of the oldest music festivals in the U.S.; it was first held in 1959. Newport Folk Festival is organized in July, between 28 and 30. It has a laidback atmosphere, and last year many famous artists such as Patti Smith, Father John Misty, Margo Price, Graham Nash, Brian Fallon and Alabama Shakes performed here.
